Hiya :)

Does anyone know whether you can park at another disney resort all day if you are staying on site?

My dilema is, we have reservations for CRT @ 8.10am on our second day, but also have reservations for Kona Cafe @ 6.35 that evening.

It is MNSSHP night and consequently I understand that as the park offiially closes at 7pm the monorail will have closed by the time we have finished our meal.

My thoughts would be then to park at the Poly, get the monorail in the morning to MK and then have our car there for us after our evening meal.

I fully appreciate that it is frowned upon parking @ any disney resort, I have also heard they are tightening up on allowing you in at security unless you have your ADR number etc.. But does this also apply if you are a Disney Guest?

The next option would be to use Valet parking which I believes allows you to stay all day regardless:confused3

Thank you

Where you staying? could you not use the transport?

I would possibly park at MK then after the evening meal walk back there for the car, not too far from the Poly, or before the meal at Kona move the car to Poly car park, easy enough to do.

Only other option I can think of is Valet parking like you say.

I wouldn't dare risk it at Poly all day, if they see it there with a parking pass for a different resort I would think they are entitled to remove it. I am sure many do but I couldn't.

Forgot about the tightening up. Not heard anything about that, we go to many resorts each visit, just show ID and they let us in no problem. You don't have an ADR for CS meals, on the DDP you can eat at any of them.

I have read the resort monorail runs later - we are moving to BLT Tuesday so I will let you know :thumbsup2

I would leave the car in the TTC lot and walk back after dinner or stop and collect the car on the way to the Poly.

We are staying SSR.

Before they cut the monorail operating times I had planned to use the Disney Bus to get to MK in the morning, monorail to Poly for evening meal, monorail back to MK and Bus back to SSR.

My concern in sticking to this plan is how I now get from the Poly back to MK?

Even if the monorail stops early they must have a way to the park for poly guests to go to the party (boat is one way I have seen work at night) and you could use whatever they have.

You wouldnt have a problem because even if the park monorails stop (I dont think they will) you will have the resort monorails so they will be able to take you to the park anyway:thumbsup2

It's just as convenient to park at the TTC, which is walking distance from the Poly. The Poly can't provide theme park parking (as it says on the sign entering the lot). And yes, because of abuse, they are tightening up more every year at all of the resorts. Especially when crowds are high or there are special events going on. We have been asked for a ressie number during peak season (can't remember which resort) and we've been denied entry to Boardwalk and Contemporary lots even when we had ADRs. We have seen cars being towed from Contemporary and Poly. So make it easy on yourself, use TTC.

If you are staying on-site why not just use the transport. Even if the resort monorail has stopped running, if MNSSHP is on there will still be a bus running to the Poly.

Why bother going back to MK :confused3 This is what I would do:

Bus to MK in the morning
Monorail/bus to the Poly
Bus to Downtown Disney from the Poly
Boat/walk to SSR

This!

We are SSR regulars, and anytime we go to resorts for a meal or whatever, we always take the DD bus and walk back to SSR from there (even when we don't stay in Congress we still walk, it's 15 mins tops). If you're too tired to walk after a long day, take the boat which is a lovely ride.

Just avoid taking the bus from DD to SSR though, it takes forever (and ever, and ever).
