Staying offsite and just booked advance FP+ for next week!

Hey! I just checked touringplans.com on the crowds for our days. The actual days' crowds were:

HS = 3
EP = 7
MK = 5 (it rained)
AK = 8

MK seemed way more crowded than AK, but it could depend on what part of the park you're in when the crowds hit. And now that MK has 6 parades a day, it makes it feel even more crowded.

Velvetsqueeze - thanks sooooo much for reporting back. Sounds like things are doable even if we aren't able to prebook. I really appreciate you sharing your experience and glad that you were able to prebook!

13 more days for us!!

You can book your FP in the park for the day; just don't stop at the first kiosk.

Thanks for getting back to us. Hoping something opens up before we hit the parks in 9 days, but preparing to book day of in the park.

I wanted to add something I noticed. When entering the parks or using FP+ if you want to scan your ticket through your lanyard pouch it will work just fine except if you have your memory maker card in the same pouch. It has a chip too and it messes up the scan and gives you a blue Mickey.

hello, apologises if this has been asked but I can't read through all the pages :)

I am offsite NON annual pass, I have my tickets linked (UK 14 days tickets) and ADRs made for the odd day here and there for our stay.

Up until today MDE said I had 62 etc days to my vacation (from memory it was something like that.

Now it says 1 day until my plans, does that mean I may have access tomorrow to do fp+ or is that just what everyone is getting and it means nothing really.

I haven't had an email offering to join testing or anything.

Many thanks in advance

Kirsten

I have no idea what that means or if it means anything at all, my status changed a few times but FP+ has remained locked. I just checked MDE and nothing is different from yesterday, still says "48 days to go" sigh.... :surfweb: Keeping my fingers crossed for you, report back!

We are staying offsite next week. After reading boards tonight, I went to My Disney Experience. We had stayed onsite at Christmas and received Magic Bands. We had put our 10 day no expire tix that we purchased from Under Cover Tourist on the bands. I just logged on and was able to book fastpass times for next Wednesday. Later I went back to book for Monday and it is saying that my window hasn't opened up. The Wednesday ressies are still there though. I thought this was strange, but happy for Wednesday.

Happy for you Minnie10! We arrive next Thursday and I keep checking every day but it is still locked. It states 10 more days for me because our first ADR is on Sat. I think I might add an ADR for Thursday and see if that changes anything.

Still nothing here. Down to 4 days until our CRT ADR. All we need is a simple flip of a switch. C'mon.

Any advice for how to buy magic bands as an offsite guest? I tried this morning on MDE and could not figure out where to click to purchase magic bands. Thanks in advance for any advice.

My parents and brothers are going in 3 weeks and I was able to make them FPs for their first week (until 30th april). Since it's only 30 days in advance, I will have to do it a day at a time to get them FPs for their second week

From Disney's Website:

"If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel and are not a Passholder, you will receive a card when you purchase park admission—and you have the option to purchase a MagicBand at Disney theme parks and Downtown Disney area."
