Hi all
I just wondered if anyone has any advice on what we are planning for our trip?
We are visiting for 7 days over new year. We stayed at explorers 7 years ago the week before christmas and so know how cold it will be. With this in mind we have decided to stay somewhere more 'homely' and so I have found a lovely 3 bed cottage 5 mins drive from the parks. We are going to pick up a hire car from the airport (which we have never done done before - gulp!lol) and drive to the house and then drive to and from the parks each day. (we thought this might be better than queing up and fighting to get on the shuttle buses!) We are buying annual dream passports so parking is free but I am wondering how vast the car parks are?? I know they have moving walk ways but realistically how far will we have to walk and is there an area which is better to park in??
I have a romantic notion of us all soaking up the magic at the parks all day and then reutrning to our little cottage for hot chocolates! Im just not sure if the reality will match up?!!
We are also planning on a day in Paris to take in the major attractions.
How does this all sound to you experts??!lol I would really appreciate any feedback!
