Staying off property and virtual ques

Are you at disadvantage when you stay off property and the park is using a virtual que?

That’s not true. Everyone (even offsite people) can join the lottery VQ at 7am for Cosmic Rewind if they have a reservation for Epcot that day. Offsite people just can’t buy $LL for it if there’s some left until park opening and they’ve physically tapped in.

Leiaorgana is correct. You can join the VQ whether you are staying on or off property. You just have to have a ticket and a Park Reservation for Epcot for the day you are wanting to use the VQ.

For VQ no you can get one anywhere at 7am (even at home 36 miles away causing a mild panic when you get boarding group 6 for ratatouille lol) you just need a park pass to park with VQ

1pm you can be anywhere HOWEVER you need to tap into the park with a VQ

6pm (only added with GoTG) you can be anywhere you just have to have a park pass for any park and a resort stay

When it was the AP magnet VQ you couldn’t be more than 40 miles from Springs to join

I think you need that park pass needs to have a hopper attached to it if Epcot is not your starting (reserved) park.

In the past you could be anywhere for the 1 with a park reservation, not even tapped in yet. Are.you saying now I have had to tap into epcot to get the 1? Is the 6 everyday or just Monday extra hours at epcot? Thanks.

1 you have to of tapped in at some point between open-1259
6 is just extra hour day

Except that once you tap into a park, Disney has no way of knowing that you’ve left. They can’t track you that closely.
