I am considering staying near the val d'europe shopping centre (eith the Ibis or Etap). How much would this affect our trip to DLRP considering we want to do 2 days in the parks. I mean we want to see the parades and such at night but worry that the RER will have stopped running?

Any support would be much appreciated:)

No worries!

The last RER train will part around midnight from DLRP, even in mid-summer peak season the parades and fireworks will be over early enough to get to the RER.

You could even spend the night at Disney Village as Val d'Europe would really be close enough to enter a taxi then.

Bussy Saint Georges (1 more stop on RER) could get too expensive that way. But Val d'Europe should really be okay. Just consider how far you have to walk from the train station to your hotel then, as budget hotels CAN be a bit outside (I don't know how this works out for Val d'Europe).

Hi we have just got back 2 weeks ago we stayed 2 nights at Cheyenne and then 2 nights at bussy st georges at the premiere class which is like a travel lodge to be honest to save abit of money the premiere class was great it is 2 stops on RER and the trains run till midnight, then a 10 minute walk, the breakfast was about 4 euros and it was much more chilled than the cheyenne .We had a day in Paris which was about 30 minutes on RER.:cool1:

The only problem with Etap hotels is that maximum room capacity is 3. Kids are counted as adults so the nuclear family of two adults two kids would have to book 2 rooms, thus cancelling out any possible saving:confused3

I am staying at the Ibis Val D' Europe next week. It's right next to the train station and it's only 2 minutes on the train. It's probably quicker to get to than Santa Fe/Cheyenne/Holiday inn etc...

I'll post pictures and a mini review when I get back. The last RER runs at 0015 which means you've got half an hour to make it as Wishes finishes at 2345.
