Staying near Busch Gradens?

where is the best place to stay for one night near to Busch?.
Ive got a list here and im not sure.

Amerisuites tampa
Best Western
Comfort Inn
Days Inn
Doubletree guest suites
Embassay
La quinta tampa
Quality Inn
Red roof Inn

Anybody recomend or has stayed in a good hotel?.

DaveSD and Val stayed at the beach at Clearwater, I'm not sure which hotel they where in, but I know they where very happy with it. Might be worth asking them

There are a couple of Comfort Inns and Suites nearby that I've stayed at for a night or two and they were fine for that sort of break , i.e just coming back at the end of the day and sleeping in the room. I wouldn't say they were suitable as a longer holiday destination, but if you're just looking for somewhere convenient, cheap , clean and comfortable they fit the bill. There is also a Holiday Inn literally opposite the park.
