Staying concierge and adr's

Wondering if anyone staying cl "had the ball dropped" by IPO when making adr's for you. I'm going at a super busy time, so timing is important, yet I would really rather have the IPO do it for me - as this is one of the perks I'm paying for:)
 
I don't remember reading anything on here where someone mentioned the IPO Cast Members dropping the ball on guests ADR's. However there have been some threads about the IPO Cast Members not responding to e-mails or calls, so the guests went ahead and made the ADR's themselves.
 
I've had nothing but wonderful service from concierge at both AKL and BWI. Not only did they make all my ADRs, but they graciously changed them when I asked (all via email). And, once at WDW, they got me much-sought-after Adrs (once for Boma, and once for Flying Fish) about an hour before we wanted to eat!
 
Wellllllllll I have to be the oddball. Last year I had three trips planned all club level. The first one was in May, next Sept & then in Dec. The one that planned my Sept trip even though I made all my own ADR's the IPO planners at the WL canceled all my ADR's even though I told them in the email that I had a trip coming up in May & Sept. I found out when I changed a ADR for May & the IPO planner said she couldn't find any. So I asked her why & she said someone cancel them. I said I didn't. It turned out to be WL IPo's planners. She called the WL IPO planners & told them & to get back my ADRS same time same place as I had it in my email to both of the resorts. I got them back but it makes you wonder why? If they see another ADR they should look at date leave it alone or email & ask or better still go back to the email sent to them & see what was written.
 
YC's IPO's have always been on top of it. They've never missed one yet. We give them plenty of notice and rarely do they even book a time that's different from our request.
 
If you are paying for concierge level and this is one of your perks, then by all means use it and then check to make sure it has been done to your satisfaction.. prior to leaving.

I would think that it should be done correctly as these castmembers are hired to take care of concierge people.....I would hope that they could do that job correctly as you are paying extra for that privilege..
 
Stayed at YC and AKL concierge level more than a dozen times. I always ask the IPO to make my ADR's and I have never had a problem. I tell them what I want, they make the ADRs and then they send me a confirmation with all my ADRs listed. Very easy and convenient.
