Staying CL and making ADRs

I hope this isn't a silly question...We are staying Poly CL and have some very hard to get reservations in mind. Am I better off having the Conceirge Staff book them for me at the 90+10 mark or am I better off doing it online or on the phone the minute they open their reservation center. I have never done this before. I am almost to my 90 day mark. I am SO excited.

Let them do it. I am also a control freak, but the Poly IPO staff got me every ADR I wanted within 5 minutes of my requested time in June and on our previous trip in 2008, including a fireworks cruise. It's a really nice perk of staying CL to not have to do that yourself and you're paying for that service as part of your room price.

They're not supposed to have any special pull, but I think they do.

Did you fill out the questionnaire they send you and return it to them? Because you should really do that as far in advance of your 90 days as you can, so you can make sure they have all the information.

I have never been disappointed with my ADR arrangements through IPOs at the various resorts. They have secured hard to get reservations, tours, etc. and all within minutes of the times I requested. We usually travel in the June, but have also spent time in July, May, and October. Whether a busier time or not so busy, we've not had any problems with IPO arrangements.

When I have stayed concierge, they have made my ADR's BEFORE the 90 mark. I got everything at the times I wanted.

We are staying CL at AKL and had the IPO make our ADR's. We had an email from them within 10 minutes of opening on our 90 day mark. Everything was confirmed within 10mins of our requested time including CRT at 8:05am on our first day, Chef Mickeys, California Grill during Wishes and an Illuminations cruise. We are also going during free dining.

I completely agree with everyone else! Definitely have the IPO make your ressies. I sent them all my B,L,D requests for our 10 honeymoon coming up in October. I received an email from them and I got every single one at the exact time requested except for one. I requested the coral reef at 8pm. It wasn't available at that time so they booked it at 7:40pm and 8:40pm and I had to call them back so they could release the reservation I did not want! Everytime we have dealt with the IPO offices of the Poly, AKL and GF they have been superb in all aspects!

Add me to the "use-the-IPO" crowd....I don't know how I'll ever be able to go back to non-CL status again!
