Hi all. My vacation is booked. Three weeks at Bonnet Creek in July. We love WBC. We used to stay at Pop Century when it was just 2 adults and 1 kid, but with the prices going up and an addition of a very hyper 4 year old staying in a small hotel room can't happen. The only problem we have is that none of the adults drive so we can't rent a car. I have looked at other timeshares and none of them seem to have the number of pools, lazy rivers, etc. that BC has. We can spend days at BC without going to the parks and not having the kids - one 14 year old and one 4-year old get bored.
Last year we rented a 2-bedroom from a private owner and it was great. We loved staying at BC even though we relied on cabs and the BC shuttle. The only parks we went to were the Disney parks.
This year we are going back to the Disney parks, but we want to go to Seaworld and Universal. When I bought my Seaworld tickets I purchased the 3-park tickets. I know we can get to Busch Gardens for free from Seaworld.
My question is, does Bonnet Creek have shuttles that go to Seaworld or Universal? I read on the Universal forum that Mears has a $19.00 roundtrip fee per person to Universal and I can call them the day before. I think I also read somewhere that you can get a shuttle at BC to Universal for $15 roundtrip per person - is that true?
Thank you for the info. I like to plan everything ahead of time. I've already purchased the park tickets through Orbitz. We plan on spending 2 weeks going to the parks and one week of down time.
