Staying at VGF transportation recommendations to dining elsewhere

So we are staying at VGF and we will have a car. However we prefer using our car as little as possible when there. i know it’s weird but we enjoy using Disney transportation bus, monorail, boats whatever. So looking for dining ideas outside the Grand without getting into a car. Don’t mind offbeat ideas

Are you talking dining at other WDW resorts or say restaurants not on Disney property?

Getting to other resorts is pretty easy from VGF thanks to the MK walkway, monorail, and also boat. I know I enjoyed dining at Whispering Canyon or Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge), taking a quick, smooth boat ride to MK, and from there I could tour around any monorail resort I wanted to, so the reverse is also true! Two boats from GF and you’re at WL to explore and dine. Or you’re one boat and one bus from any other WDW resort.

It’s too bad there’s no way to get from Epcot monorail to Boardwalk / Skyliner area without park admission and an open park though
[Edit] Of course you can always bus to DHS and then Skyliner or Friendship Boat to anything at Swolphin, YC/BC, Boardwalk, Riviera, or CBR!
