staying at the airport the night before you fly!!

We are staying at the Gatwick Hilton the night before we fly and were parking the car, but my Dad has just asked if he can use our car whilst we are away, his was written off in an accident this week. That's ok and not a problem, I have cancelled the parking but my dilema is what do we do with our change of clothes as we are using twilight check in. I really don't want to have them in our hand luggage. We are considering wearing old t-shirts and throwing them away (also old underwear and throw it), and cropped trousers which we would also wear the next day! what would you do or have you done!!!!

We have done it a couple of ways. The first was to wear old underware etc and throw it away. We didn't throw away tshirts as these will just fit into hand luggage. We threw away toothburshes and brought toiletries that were just about run out.

The other way was to check in a small bag in the morning with all our stuff. My DH went down in the morning about 7:30 and handed in a bag. Since the hotel was so close he then came back and we got ready.

I would go down the old clothes route! Holey socks and so on!!
