The awesome pics on this thread have helped me to finally make up my mind which resort to stay at - POR/Alligator Bayou!!!! I stayed at POFQ two years ago and have stayed at POP twice since then. I really wanted to stay somewhere different and had booked CSR, but I just wasn't getting excited about it so I canceled that ressie. I have POP booked for week of Halloween, but I will be changing that tomorrow!

I will be taking my brand new Canon SL1 with Tamron telephoto lens on its first Disney vacay. I cannot wait. I have to start rearranging my days to spend more time at the resort trying to match these wonderful pics.

First thanks for the pictures. We're heading back at the end of September, for the second time. I'm so looing forward to going back, it's as pretty as I remember. Now, I know that the parks will be decorated for Halloween but will the resort? And if it is, does anyone have any pictures of POR decorated for Halloween? Would love to see some. Thanks

Thanks for looking. I love this resort as well. This will be our second stay there in Sept. Even if the resort isn't decorated, the parks will be, so that's good. It's not going to change our enjoyment of the resort.

One month from today we leave for our WDW vacation at POR! Wooooo!

My parents are staying here when we go on our next trip,(we're not) so I think spending a day walking around here is a must! It looks so beautiful! Always wanted to stay here, but it's just never in the cards.

Sorry that was supposed to say hear the guy. I just drove home from the beach through the tropical storm coming up on I26. I have never seen so much rain before in our area!! We have had rain most everyday since the end of May!! I think I am beginning to rust!
