Staying at Riverside : Show me pics, get me excited!!

Whoo Hoo!!! It only took two months but I finally figured out how to post a photo!

I'd be very interested to know how he HDR'd them, from JPEG, a single RAW file or bracketed RAW files? A couple of the autumnal-looking views along tree-lined pathways are really gorgeous.

What does HDR'd mean? I'm not very savy to anything tech-ish, but then I'm sure you could tell that from the question. LOL

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, a fairly advanced photographic post-processing technique which allows photos with very mixed brightness levels (e.g. a sunny scene that is viewed through a dark archway) to provide better visible detail over the whole image area rather than having one part under-exposed and another part over-exposed. It can also be used to create interesting effects and change the mood of photos. There are programs around now which pretty much automate this process for beginners.

Looking at everyones pics got me so excited for our trip. Thanks for sharing! 11 days from now we will be on a plane heading to POR/WDW and be able to share our pics with everyone here. :cool1:
 
Well I have just switched from CSR (our usual) to POR thanks to this thread. :goodvibes I hope I made a good decision. The resort seems so pretty.
