Hi ladies and gents...
I'm booking the PPH for March and was wondering what everyone does for breakfast there. We don't want to break the bank, but I think that there is a resturant there. Anyone know what breakfast runs? We are doing lunch and dinner at the parks, or maybe mimis. Or is there is little shop we can buy muffins and coffee in ? Or does anyone bring there own?
Thanks so much for your help. This is our trip celebrating my husbands safe return from his first deployment!!!:goodvibes

I always bring my own food for breakfast, but you can go to the Surfside Lounge which is located on the first floor. Here is the menu.

The breakfast there is a character breakfast. $$$$$

There is a little coffee shop, and I'm sure the prices are along the same lines as the bakery in the parks, a bit on the higher side.

We generally do a really light thing in the morning, just granola bars and such, get to the park, and an hour or so into the park day go have breakfast.

PCH Grill is really good, IMO, for dinner. We also liked Millie's (a bit more than we liked Mimi's), but just in case you didn't know, Mimis/Millies are in a much different direction than PPH. After a long day, you'll likely want to drive to and from.

Thank to you both for the info...
Sorry one more question...I saw on that site it says concierge buffet. What is that for? Do we need to pay there?
Thanks
Suz

From what I understand it's only available to those who pay for a concierge room and those aren't cheap.

We always grab food (fruit cup, bakery item, milk and coffee) from the coffee bar in the Surfside Lounge. It is just a quick elevator ride away from your room. There is also a toaster and microwave there. There is also a fridge in your room for leftovers. -- Suzanne

They have a small menu at the coffee place in the lobby. They had a brkfst burrito crosant sandwch, Mickey waffles and a couple other stuff pluse the danishes and stuff. It was really good and filling. And guess what it came from te same kitchen as the buffet. Lol. It was enough food to fill us up. The brkfst burrito and waffles were $6.99. It had real shreded beef and lots of very yummy real food in it. We were very impressed.

Depending on your length of stay, have you concidered delivery of breakfast foods from vons.com?

We stayed there the first time we went to DLR and on the mornings we didn't have a character breakfast we just brought our own breakfast. Dry cereal, granola bars, etc.
