Off property there is a Ponderosa behind the Portofino on the main roads. They have a breakfast buffet for $4.95 A, $3.95 ch not incl drinks. Everything is drowning in butter but the kids liked it. Just ask concierge for directions.
On property, you can get breakfast at the "Pastamore" restaurant at Citywalk. In both of the parks there is a bakery soon after you enter. Breakfast sandwiches of some sort are offered for around $5, along with various muffins, cakes, cookies, croissants,etc
The breakfast buffet at the Trattatoria restaurant (at Portofino) is worth trying once. It's pricey though at $13.95 A, but kids are only $4.95, no beverages incl. This place has the best coffee on proeprty (imho) but it's $2.95 (refills incl), yikes!
The Gelatto place has coffee for $3, but the cup is unlimited refills. They have other take out breakfast items but they are VERY pricey.
We like bay view, west wing because you are near the boat dock and can often see the boat coming. Also, the view is pretty, especially at night. But some of the pool view rooms are larger than average.
