staying at POR in january...question

is there a specific place i should request? I have never stayed here and am hoping that i like it...i stayed at CBR last may, and loved that, so im hoping for the same experience..thanks for any insight

We stayed in Alligator Bayou section and absolutely loved it. It was cozy and private. Since it was recently renovated both section are nice. Try to ask for a corner main floor room. This way u get 2 windows. I'm sure anywhere they put u will be great!!!

Everyone likes different things, but I love the mansions. We just stayed in Panterre Place in October and I loved it. I'll request that again. All the mansions have been redone. I think it just depends what look you like. I love the way they redid the mansion side and the mattresses are great. I've stayed at all the moderates and POR and POFQ are my favorites. Have fun!

If you go to www.allearsnet.com, you can look at several pictures of the resorts, both inside and outside the room. We are staying at POR in March, and after looking at the pictures, we are trying for a Mansion room. The Alligator Bayou rooms didn't appeal to us, but I'm not sure how long ago they were updated. Perhaps someone else knows?

I'm glad to hear the mattresses at POR are comfy. We've stayed at swan/dolphin in the past and are used to a nice mattress.

We are staying there in January too! I've stayed in both the mansions and alligator buyou. My requests for the room will be 1st floor and non-smoking.

We have always stayed in the AB. It is very quiet and a short pleasant walk to the food court. Great resort, we love it, hope you do also! Going back in a few weeks.
