Staying at Pop for the 1st Time/Any advice

When I stayed at ASMo the resort in general was quiet. I know that we didn't have neighbours on either side and never heard anything from up above.

Do you normally hear the people above or hear people outside walking past?

Bring your earplugs!! It can be very noisy depending on the location!!

I have stayed at Pop twice and really enjoyed the food court and pool. The food court does seem to get busy between 8 and 9 in the morning. Getting there earlier makes a difference on the noise level in there.

My only real complaint was the sound of the toilet flushing. It sounds like the a shuttle is about to take off. Scared the beejeebeez out of me in the middle of the night!! I think this is the case at all value resorts as I experienced the same thing at Sports.

We love POP!! You have to remember it is a value resort and won't have all the bells and whistles of a deluxe, but how much time are you really going to spend in the room? The food court is great and I love the frozen coke machine!! We stayed in a preferred room once in the 60s and once in th 50s - ground floor and it was a short walk to the pool, food court and the buses! Which was great when you came back from the parks late at night. Smart move getting two rooms - the beds are full size and it is a little difficult for two adults to sleep comfortably. When we want to be immersed in Disney we stay at POP - the decor is all about Disney. When we want to escape to a "resort" we stay at WL or AKL. Disney ain't it great - something for everyone!! Have a great time!!

We stayed at POP in Sept. 2007. It was great. We had a wonderful time. I would stay in preferred room. We were in room 3121 on the first floor in the 50's section. We were about 30 feet from the main area. The service was great. The food court was great. We had a wonderful time.

I hope yalls trip is great.

Thanks for all the replies and the pics. We will be staying there for the first time in May / June 2009 (our next trip). We have stayed at Sports, AKL and BC. We are all looking forward to staying at POP.
