I using my DVC for the very 1st time in October at OKW. Reserved a studio. Can you please give me an idea of room locations that would be good? I know absolutely NOTHING about OKW- except where it is located! So please, share your ideas and rooms that you've had athat you've been happy with! Is there anything there I should not miss? THANKS SO MUCH!!!

it is best to ask for a view or location than a particular room - if the room is already occupied when you arrive then the room controller will put you where he wants....

views - water (my favorite), golf or woods -
location - near a bus stop, near a pool or near the HH

the HH is where most of the stuff is located - the restuarant, main pool, front desk, gift shop, gym, community hall, etc.

alot of people want to be close to the HH - so it is pretty popular - I like a water view at building 55. but everyone has different taste.

Every room location at OKW is just great as far as I am concerned. What you must ask for is smoking or nonsmoking. Now if you have something wrong with you that makes walking more than 50 to 100 yards difficult you might want to ask for something near the HH or if you have a child that is very young then also ask for something near the HH so you can be close to the kiddie pool. No matter where you stay at OKW you are near a bus stop and a pool. There are 4 pools and that is where you will find the laundry for you staying in the studio. There are ice machines at all the bus stops also. Staying in a studio you will be getting a very small porch that may not have a good view. Studios often do not have good views. You should try to take the boat ride down to DD, as far as I am concerned it is the best attraction at WDW. Have fun.:Pinkbounc

IMHO there are no bad rooms at OKW. As posted some people like to be closer the main buliding, we always have a car, and upon check in, tell the CM to save the rooms closer to the main building for others.
I like a top floor, hate having people above me, but have been on the ground floor many times.
