Staying at HRH

Staying at HRH in November and have researched resturants on property- What aresome good eating choices outside of the resort in the nerby vacinity?

For me - Hard Rock Cafe and Margaritaville at City Walk. Outback Steak Bar is close. Golden Coral for breakfast.

The kitchen is great, but gets expensive

If you have a car there are numerouse places on International Drive. You can find just about every type of fast food, Olive Garden, etc. there.

We went to BB Kings House of Blues and really liked it. I have older teens and they thought sitting in a club for dinner and listening to the music was really great! It can get a bit loud. I got a certificate for it on www.restaurant.com. Dinner was reasonable and good and we had one of the best waitresses we've ever had, anywhere. I swear she could read minds!

City walk has some great restaurants for all flavors and budgets. We like Bubba Gumps, Hard Rock Cafe, Bob Marleys, Margaritaville, Pastamore, Latin Quarter and Emeril's (our favorite but $$$$) are all good restaraunts IMO. Inside IOA is Mythos which is a great restaraunt as well. There are some other good restaraunts at the other on-site hotels as well such as Emerils Tsoup Chop (RPR), Moma Della's (PBR) and Trattoria del Porto (PBR).

Good food is not something that is lacking by any means on-site at Universal Orlando. As others have said if you want to go to the famailiar chain restaraunts, just take a short drive to Internationl Drive for anything and everything in chain food dining.

If you like a big breakfast try the Kitchen at the HRH.They had what I thought was a really good buffet with an omelet station.They have lots of items to choose from and we always managed to eat a ton when there so if your first plan for the day is to ride the Hulk you may want to rethink lol.
