staying at HRH garden view

We are staying at Hard Rock Hotel for one night on May 24th. This will be our 3rd time. The first time we had a room near elevators and very near the front of the hotel so we didn't have to walk far. The 2nd time we ended up back a long hallway and very confusing to find our way out (didn't really like). My questions is, what area or room should we request (I know it will not be a guarantee). We are also an All Access Card holder. Should I make a request or hope to get an upgrade upon arrival. Any input on this would be great. Thank you!

when you check in, request a room close to the elevators.
hrh has those long corridors that turn into another long corridor......

with the all access card if you booked a standard room, the upgrade, if available, would be a pool view room.
you can' request the upgrade until you check in.
