We will be there in a few weeks.
It's impossible to get a straight answer from anyone about what areas are still under construction. The people I've talked to are not on site, so I kind of get it. They have a party line they repeat on the phone or in the chat box online.

Are most of the rooms re-furb'd now? Any idea what area they are working on?
We've booked a Premium View room, so any heads up or advice is very welcomed.
If you know that an area or floor is completed, I'd like to request that.

If the Woods/Courtyard wing is done, I'll gladly switch to that area.

No issues with the pool, zero interest this trip.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I was told that the pool area was being refurb'd, the actual room re-dos are underway, but not the Courtyard area, it hasn't been started. The work on the lobby and that side of the hotel will be starting this summer and it will all be done by November.

We're staying Courtyard which is my favourite area so I didn't ask which specific wing was being worked on, just that Courtyard was not.

We were in the woods/courtyard area less than a month ago and the room had not been remodeled yet, nor were there any signs of construction in the corridor (4th floor)

ETA- we had woods view, directly above GCA entrance, room was maybe 5 doors down from the napa rose elevators. Is that considered woods/courtyard?

If you were facing the park, I would consider that a park view. The mature trees are now so large, many park view rooms have been reclassified as woods view.

Back to the OP question about renovation progress:
The regular hotel rooms (non villa) only started in January. The extensive remodel of the bathrooms will certainly make the renovations more time consuming. According to the Art of The Craft tour guide, several different renovation versions (good, better, best) were built. The parks blog has remodel photos, which are likely from a sample room (this room lacks blackout drapes)

The renovation of hotel rooms is likely to take all year.

My goodness, that is lovely! I looked at the blog and my thoughts on the bathroom is that I'm glad I'm not the one who's going to have to keep all those glass shower doors spotless! And that the lack of bathtubs will be a pain for the parents of small children.
