I am staying at Holiday Inn Express closest to USF. It says that I get early entry to USF and IOA. How early is early entry, and as I have to park my rental car, what time do I need to arrive to get parked and get in when gate opens? Thanks.:drive:

Did you purchase a package through the Universal website? Your ticket that you purchased with the package will be marked with the code for early admission.

Parks open at 9, so early entry is at 8. You should be at the parking by about 7:20.

There is a Holiday Inn Express Nearest Universal Orlando and a Holiday Inn and Suites Across From Universal. Make sure you are clear which one you booked. They are two different hotels.

I hadn't even thought about there being more than one Holiday Inn (I'm booked for the Holiday Inn Express and Suites). I don't know if it's close enough to walk, so I guess we will be using the car and getting there by 7.20am. Appreciate the help. pixiedust:

The Holiday Inn Express is at the far end of Major. I feel that is a long walk. Have fun!

I forgot that you must have to get your tickets at the kiosk first, so you might want to give yourself a few extra minutes.

They're known for opening up at 7:45 - 7:50, so you know, the earlier the better, and those 10 - 15 minutes will make a difference if you're heading for Ollivanders.

I do have to pick up tickets at some kiosk, so I will just have to drag hubby out early! (This is why he hates vacations!):rotfl:

Beware, the kiosks were not working last week. We had to wait on the regular line with everyone purchasing tickets.:(
