We are staying at Disney, but we want to go to Universal for one day. How far away is Universal from Disney? Is it possible to do this???

We have a 5 day Park hopper ticket, but will really be there 6 days during Thanksgiving and were planning on doing Disney Quest one day. I really want to go to the Disney parks on Friday because I hear they are transformed, and I am trying to find something to do during the week.

I have always wanted to go to Universal Studios Florida. I have been to California. Do they have a backlot type ride?

People do this all the time so you aren't alone. It's about 30 mins from Disney to Universal taking into consideration the traffic and time to get into the parking garage. If you're going to have a car, parking is $14.00 (same as Disney) for the garage. The crowds aren't too bad before Thanksgiving so you should not have long waits. Universal Orlando used to have a backlot ride but it's been gone for years now. I'm sure you'll find plenty to do and if you have any questions, fire away!

Just be sure that if you're not renting a car that you either make your way to the Boardwalk where there are usually taxis waiting around out front or you look up a car service in advance. I have witnessed people asking cast members at the front desk of a Disney resort for information on getting around without a car and if the guest states that it is to go to another non-Disney park, the cast member says "Sorry, I can't help you."

Hi we always use mears you can book them through the front desk at resort, they have to be booked night before, ;)

Does anyone know the expiration date on this 2-park w/ transfers ticket? I was thinking of buying it for our April 2010 trip to Disney. It looks like a good deal but I wasn't sure if I buy it now if it will still be valid then.
Thanks!!

I never heard A bad comment about them. But I know your concern. It took awhile to find their #,so here it is:1-888-374-0494
