We are staying at the BCV Feb 14-21. We have Priority Seatings for dinner every night and am looking for some ideas to get breakfast in the morning. We do have APs and will be up around 6am every morning, we have an 18 month old. I would rather not eat at Cape May Cafe every morning, realize it will be crowded and won't have the use of a one bedroom, we are only staying in a studio for this trip. Does anybody have any ideas for a quick breakfast before going out to the parks, or in Epcot?!

I wodul do simple thinsg since you will be having a ncie dinner each day. Things liek cereal (You can get your milk in the store, but I'd bring soem extra bowls and silverware.), oatemel for the microwave, cereal bars, pop tarts - all these things you can pack and atke with you and don't require refridgeration.

I'm not sure if you are looking for a big sit down breakfast...or something quick...but here are some ideas if you want to walk somewhere close:

Spoodles at the Boardwalk (sit down)

The Bakery at the Boardwalk (quick) YUM

The Dolphin: FRESH

The Swan: Garden Grove Cafe

Of course, being up that early has it's advantages...you could book the earliest seating at the character breakfast of your choice and have some fun. Many years ago we took DD to Minney's breakfast at Poly...got the first seating and I don't think there were more than 25 people there. It was wonderful...we got to spend a lot of time with the characters.
Crystal Palace is another favorite of ours.

I suggest that you get up for an early walk and head on over to the Boardwalk Bakery. Even better is to pick up some things the night before from the bakery and have them when you get up in the morning. They have some wonderful baked goods.:p

If you have a car or are taking a towncar from the airport stop and get some fruit to make fruit cups, cereal, juice and or something you can do in the microwave. We did go to both the bakery and spoodles for breakfast but really enjoy being able to have a quick bite in the room before we head out. Even in a studio you have a small fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot so there are lots of possibilities. We also got bagels and cream cheese from the gift shop. Not too sure about utensils and containers in a studio so you might consider packing some glad wear bowls if you want to do the cereal thing. There were also continental breakfast offerings in one of the lounges in the early am. We did Cape May one morning with an 18 month old and the character interaction was wonderful but it is too pricey to do every day. We also did the fancy coffee and pastry thing at Epcot one day - can;t remember the name of the place just that about all they serve is pastry and coffee - next to the Coca Cola Igloo.

The Yacht Club Galley offers both a buffet and ala carte menu items for breakfast. On our October trip we thought the food was better than Cape May Cafe. As DVC members we got a 10% discount too. It is also quieter and not crowded at all. I agree with the others about the Boardwalk Bakery. You'll get the best selection if you go early in the a.m. By evening, they are out of many items. It is also an enjoyable stroll in the early morning.

BCV lobby has a pplace to get muffins, bagels, coffee, juice, and a few other items. It's between cape may and the registration desk, it used to be a lounge for drinks, now it has continental breakfast food. That'll save you a walk to BWV. The Dolphin has 24 hour food available, and I believe 10 restaraunts. Some offer breakfast. You could always get some quiche, and put it in the oven in the morning for a great breakfast. Hot breakfast rolls from the oven smell wonderful while getting ready.

We went to the Boardwalk Bakery several times last summer. Very relaxing to get a table on the Boardwalk and enjoy the view.:D

You could even do frozen pancakes that you microwave, and microwaveable bacon (we like turkey bacon) or sausage. You could also scramble eggs and microwave them. We like a nice hearty breakfast. It keeps us going a little longer. Good luck and have fun.

We usually eat at the Yacht Club Galley but we stayed at BWV for the first time Halloween and ate at Spoodles and it was pretty good with hardley anyone there. Its also nicer looking than the Galley.
