Staying at BC enough reason to buy PHer??

I know another to PH or not to PH thread...
We never have in the past done PH, as we usually sleep in late and hit one park later in the day until close. This year we are staying at the BC.. instead of PoR so that changes things.

I am trying to think if the 319.00 is worth PHing over to Epcot.. example if we do AK,, will the kids and I really get up early to ride TT etc.. come back and then head out to AK? or do HS fast in the morning to ride and then come back? We are not early risers.. Or is BC just sooo convienient to HS and EP that we will all of a sudden get the urge to PH?

319.00 is a lot of money for that luxury. We are not the type that rope drop and then hop and hop and finish the day late..

Another option is taking the 319 and buying MNSSHP tickets.. We kinda decided not to do it this year, but now I am thinking if we take the 319 for that ( come out a bit cheaper maybe). In essence we can fake "hop" on that party day.. EP in the AM and then the party at night...

My only concern is will AK be now so awesome we need to invest more time there too and a PH might come in handy??

The only reason I am thinking now about PH is the Beach Club location... It's almost like in order to take full advantage of that resort location, you need a PH.

what do you all think?

We were not park hoppers until we stayed at BC. Now I can't imagine not having them. They are so worth it, especially when you're staying in Epcots doorstep.

Based on your post, I assume you're coming in the fall - do you foresee your family visiting Food and Wine more than once during your trip? If so, I'd say it's best to spring for the PH, especially with the International Gateway minutes away.

Damn! forgot about that !! I think I have my answer......would be nice to have final park hours too.. at this point, unless they update them, we might be in bed by 9pm and up early to HOP.

Our first handful of trips we did not purchase hoppers. Actually, we still haven't...but we have APs, so we can hop. Anyway our first family trip with the ability to hop, we were at BWV. We've stayed at BW and S&D several times since and LOVE the convenience of hopping over to EP (and HS). I would highly suggest it. We like most of the WS restaurants so it was so nice to be able to do our thing during the day, come back for a break..eat dinner close by. Also, sounds like you may be there for F&W. We have found so much freedom in being able to "hop" and it's so convenient at an EP area resort!

For us it is... the food options are just so much better at Epcot than any other park (though we also love the food at AK). Especially with the new express bus, which I hope does not disappear before we go next year, it will be so easy to pop back to Epcot for dinner, or even lunch.

When we stay in that area, we love running over to EPCOT for dinner, even if we've been to another park for the day. So we always get the Park Hoppers. We're staying at BC during F&W this year and we're excited to have so many options in our "back yard"!

Park hoppers forever. I've never gone without them and have never spent an entire day in one park. I almost always stay at Epcot area, occassionally hitting CR for nostalgia and it's the way to go. So convenient for a zillion things. You're about 5 minutes away from the bakery at France, it'd be easy for one of ya'll to run over for breakfast even, the bakery opens at 9 as well

I would not stay at the BC without Hoppers. I go to France for breakfast every morning.

I feel that if you're staying at a MK or EPCOT resort, PHs are necessary. That's just my opinion. I've done it both ways and always felt like I was missing out by not being able to hop over to the MK at the end of the day. We're rope drop folks so it's nice to be able to hop to our 'home' park in the evening after our late afternoon break.

I'd definitely get them. The World Showcase, especially at Food & Wine, will make one heck of a "food court" to have within easy walking distance of your resort. Plus hopping from Epcot to both MK and HS is so easy via boat and monorail, and now with the express buses, even hopping from Epcot to AK is more convenient.

I love hoppers anyway for the flexibility and freedom they give, but I think they're especially valuable if you're staying at an Epcot or MK area resort.

We normally don't hop, but we got PH last trip because we stayed at BC. We are doing the same this year. It's like Epcot is in your backyard. You can just pop in and get breakfast in France or get a drink or get in a quick ride on Soarin at rope drop. It's priceless.

We were never park hoppers and were completely fine...until we stayed at BC. We loved being able to stroll into Epcot for something to eat or to just walk around the countries at night. Being close to Hollywood Studios ended up being a bigger bonus than we thought it would be. We popped over on a MK day one night just for the fireworks. Another time we went over at night just to ride the Rockin Rollercoaster with our 4th FP.
