Staying at AKL for the first time!

My pups will be staying at Best Friends Pet Resort It costs almost as much for their "vacation" as it does for mine!

Aren't they wonderful!? This is where we leave our babies...there is one about 2 miles from the house (outside Atlanta). They are so good to our older dog and my two Siamese were totally spoiled.

We stayed there the first time last month. My minor problems were it took forever for someone to come to the car to get luggage. We kept getting bypassed for Limos and towncars. The other was that when we checked in not enough info was given to us about the resort. Thank Goodness for the guy that delivered room services he was more than happy to tell us everything. But other then that we loved AKL. I think our room was in the best location. Imagine if you can. Walk out of the room turn left walk 10 feet turn left again, about 15-20 ft is the door that leads to the pool, pool bar (excellent drinks), the arcade, and Mara's. The room was 1456. It is a pool view but we were booked for a standard. Before checking in I never knew Mara's (quick meals restaurant) was by the pool. I think its on the Zebra trail. It was a bit of a walk to the bus stops but how close it was to the others was worth more. Another cool thing which we did not take advantage of was that the laundry room was right across the hall. But who wants to do laundry on vacation. The trail we were on was Zebra Trail. Also check out looking at the animals at night. There is a CM that has night goggles that you can use. Very cool.
