Staying at a resort with Express pass, what about VB?

Hello,
We will be staying at RPR in July (including the unlimited express pass).
Will it also work for VB or do we need to buy an additional Express Pass for Volcano Bay?
We already booked a cabana... so don't know if it will be worth it to spend money on the EP....

Nope, onsite hotel EP is not valid for Volcano Bay.

So, you would need to purchase it if you wanted it.

You do get early entry at VB though. You might be able to wait and see what the cabana Tapu Tapu benefit is really all about. I think it's just going to let you book your rides from the cabana, instead of having to walk over to the ride. We still don't know if or what the restrictions will be on scheduling rides. Will you only be able to schedule so many at a time, or possibly only schedule them within a certain minimum amount of time to each other? Reports will be coming out soon. I don't think EP is sold out for July yet. You should keep an eye on it though.
