We have reservations at Poly from 6/10 to 6/17. Currently I have the spring offer, which gives us a 20% discount through 6/14. Now the Disney Visa offer has arrived starting on 6/13. I called this morning and was told by the CM that I could only use one discount or the other for the package as a whole.

My (albeit perhaps unreasonable!) hope was to utilize the spring discount first and then apply the disney visa discount...maybe even if it required adding one more night (4 night minimum for each promotion?). Just curious if the info CM provided sounds accurate or if I should make another call! Thanks!

I think you can but might have to have 2 separate reservations? I would call again.

As the pp said, you would have to do 2 separate reservations. I would keep the spring discount package for the nights 6/10 thru 6/14 and do room only for the remaining nights with the Disney Visa discount. If your package includes the DDP and you wanted to keep the DDP for the entire time, you would need to purchase at least a 1 day ticket for everyone on the second reservation. If you don't have the DDP or could do without it for the last 2 nights, I'd book RO for those nights and pay OOP for food in order to get the discount. If you decide to do this, have a request noted on your reservation that you would like to stay in the same room. When you check in for the first reservation, tell the CM you have a continuing reservation and would like to keep the same room, if possible. This is not a guarantee, but your chances are pretty good (IMO) and the CM will do everything he/she can to keep you in that room. Good luck.

We had the same problem. We are going the 8th - 17th. I had them drop the spring discount (package - room, tickets, ddp) through the 14th. And then made a separate reservation room only with the summer discount for our last two nights. CM linked our two reservations together and requested same room. :)

I didn't word that well. I dropped by spring reservation down by two days and added a second reservation. :)
