First chance I've had to post since returning from my first stay home @ OKW and sooo happy I own there. Had a smoking unit, 4125 & 4126 and everyone raved about it. Setting the scene: stayed Dec. 4-8. My DBF and I were in the king bedroom while my friend, her DH and 4.5 DD stayed in the studio part. LOVED that everyone had their own space, but still had the living room and large balcony to get together in - speaking of the balcony, saw the Epcot fireworks every night and sometimes could even hear the music!!! Our unit was right next to the pool and playground - great for a 4.5 year-old!!!

I didn't use the bus this trip, but my friend did and had no problems. Also didn't get to use the ferry to DTD, but plan to in the future!!!

Feel free to ask any questions!!! :teeth:

I am so glad you enjoyed it. We own at OKW and have not yet stayed there. We were going to go this Feb. for Pres. week, but airfare was too high so we cancelled. If we did not get BCV for July, we were def. going to try OKW. Someday, hopefully soon, we will stay there. Thanks for posting and glad you enjoyed your stay!! :flower:

I love to hear posts like this. We are staying at OKW in July. It sounds wonderful!! I can't wait. :cool1:

Glad to hear the news. I have a two-bedroom lockoff reserved for next October at OKW. My husband and I are taking his daughter (she's 27) and a friend with us. When I sent them the link to the 360 degree room tour on the DVC website, they were astounded.

We also have a studio ressie at OKW this May.

Thanks for the report!

Im hoping our first stay at OKW will be in a 2bdr or GV. That has got to be awesome!

Glad you enjoyed our "home"!!

Liferbabe, you are absolutely right! the OKW GV is AWSOME!

Our very first trip home was to a 2BR at OKW in 1995. My wife actually wept tears of joy when we walked into our room. Since them we've stayed in 2BR's at OKW on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We did spring for a GV one year in order to accommodate my sister and her family. Soon after that trip, my wife got "new house itis" and we started looking around for someone who could build us a new home around the OKW GV floorplan. Cooler minds prevailed and we ended up not building a GV in NE Ohio and instead opted for more DVC points so that we could go to WDW more often.

We got back on Dec 3 from a 9 day trip and stayed at OKW. We were in BLDG 49 in a 2 bedroom. It was a dedicated 2 bedroom, no lock off. All I can say is OMG. We just kept walking and finding new things. We were on the bottom floor. And it was amazing. Since we became members and this was our second stay my DD wanted to stay here. We absolutly love the place. Would definately stay here again. The only unfortunate part was that we had asked for a room close to the Hospitality House, and I think we were put the farthest away. But the bus service was great. My DD and her best friend loved their room (2 queen size beds, 2 full closets and their own bathroom), and the size of the living room and kitchen. The 360 view they show you on the web site doesn't do it justice. We forced the girls to come out in the living room and watch TV with us one night and look at the pictures that we had taken with our digital cameras and put on our laptop. The place is HUGE!!! :cool1:

We will definately be going back at sometime. Decided to try most of them before going back to the same one.

Can't wait to go back next year!! Just have to pick were we want to stay!! :cheer2:  :flower:
