Stayed at the Renaissance for a conference last week. It was a nice place. Check-in was smooth and they offered a glass of apple cider or champagne upon checking in. Our room was 4019 and faced the atrium area which was really pretty at night. Big room with two queen beds. Double sink vanity in the bathroom and toilet and shower are in the same room as the vanity. It's not a split like Disney sometimes has. Toiletries are Aveeno and they had a small Shamu on the edge of the tub when we checked in. Nice touch.
The front lobby elevators were closest to our room but the other "pool" set of elevators lets off right at the conference rooms. Everything is in one place off of the main atrium. The event was catered by the hotel for lunches and the food was amazing. Buffet lunch one day had chicken, lasagna and steak with salad, broccoli, tortellini with peas and rolls or garlic bread sticks. Dessert was on the table and it was a little cookie and a small cup of cappuccino flavored pudding. Our sit down lunch the next day was strip steak grilled to perfection, salad, mashed potatoes, string beans and carrots. Dessert was a key lime pie. OMG!!! The food was good. Overall, it was a great place. If you're driving, you need a key card to get in the parking lot. Remember to swipe your key card. Do NOT press the button for a card or it charges you separately for being in the lot. Getting out of the lot you need your key card as well. Hold onto it and once you swipe it to get out slip it in the box and all is well. We did not eat at the hotel restaurants nor get to use the pool but it was a nice hotel and a great conference. If anyone is going, enjoy.

Appreciate the write-up/review. We are heading there for three nights at the end of August after our (Dream) cruise.

Thanks for posting! We will be heading there soon!

Come back and give us (Ok, ME) and run down of Aquatica. We've never been but since that park and SW are now included with our DC package, we'll be spending some time there as well.
