Stayed at Poly..Upgraded to concierge

We just got back from a great trip. I had booked a couple of nights at the Poly before we left for Vero Beach..because I have always wanted to stay there. I booked a garden view. When I checked in the lady was very nice and asked if we had ever stayed there...I told her no, but it was a dream come true for me. She said, well we will have to get you a great room. After checking her computer she said I have bad news and good news. The bad news is your room is not ready...good news...you have been upgraded to concierge.

We had a fantastic time!!!!!

After checking her computer she said I have bad news and good news. The bad news is your room is not ready...good news...you have been upgraded to concierge.

That is exactly how my family got upgrded from the Atrium Club to the Tower Club at the Contemporary back in May 2000. At that time the Atrium Club was light Concierge and the Tower Club was full Concierge, so we were very happy we got that fantastic upgrade. When I read how you were told of you're upgrade that brought back a lot of happy memories.

Congratulations on the upgrade! I was looking at some of the Polynesian concierge pictures on www.brownfamilyvacations.com the other day, and I decided that I should have booked a lagoon view concierge room. However, having a view of the Magic Kingdom should be great!

Congrats on the upgrade! We were also upgraded from a garden view to a garden view concierge. I thought I was going to pass out when the CM told me at check-in!! It was great!

Thanks everyone. I was beyond thrilled and didn't expect anything like that.



We did eat at 'Ohanas and really liked it. Our son liked the games and the food was plentiful and good.
