Here's my latest Storm warning received early this evening. Looks like the sub zero temps are ending but are quickly being replaced by a storm coming in Mon night and thru into Tues. If you live in the Northeast, definitely check with your own local weather network. Fingers crossed this is just a little winter weather bump. Cheers!
"Winter storm threatening Monday night and Tuesday. A low pressure area emerging from Texas is forecast to track northeast along the Appalachians Monday night and Tuesday then into northern New England by Tuesday Night. This low is expected to intensify into a winter storm as it approaches Canada. Snow is expected to move north across the International Border sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning. Significant amounts of snow are possible Tuesday across the region, with freezing rain and ice pellets also quite possible especially in the St. Lawrence Valley. Travelling conditions may quickly deteriorate and become hazardous as the heavy snow and freezing precipitation move in on Tuesday. There is still uncertainty as to the exact track of this low and how far north the snow will get into Canada. This will affect how much snow falls, as well as whether or not freezing precipitation occurs. Environment Canada is closely monitoring this situation. Winter storm watches and warnings may be required as the event draws closer. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to
