Ain't been here in awhile. What's the best options for killing time this HHN '07 (Studios?), during stay/scream lull?
Thanks!

We found Finnegans was the best place last year to drink up some "liquid courage" before heading out. It was convenient too since we were pretty close to the soundstages. We managed to hit four houses before the crowds caught up.
Also, once you get into the park keep an eye out for the girls selling "Jello Shots"---Literally, they are huge syringes filled with jello and alcohol. Our group had numerous "injections" over the course of the night!

Guest Services told me as far as they knew, the S & S area would be around Finnegan's again this year.

Big - I have noticed a few people suggest staying at Finnegans for S&S so you can hit the closest HHs. But this year with the 8 new houses do you think it would be better to go out of your way to hit something like the Freddy Krueger house first before it gets packed? This will be our first trip to US and HHN so I am clueless!

Thanks,

Brian

I would suggest hitting the houses at the sound stages first since those are historically the most elaborate and usually have the longest lines. I think the Nightmare on Elm Street house IS one of the sound stage houses so that's a great one to start with.

Is there an approximate time when they let people already inside loose to head for the shows?
Are there 'boards' posted in central locations to let people know wait times? Do you think , with an express pass, we'll get to do all the shows? Which ones might be the ones to miss, if necessary?

Oh, I'm just full of questions tonight!:rotfl:

There is a house right next to finnegans.....so I dont know if thats going to be the S&S area this year.....I would say, head to the front of the park first and hit Dead Silence...here's the reason:
Its the first house other people will see, and it empties out right at the entrance to the other soundstage house, Pyschoscarepy, which is also close to NMOES......then hit the one next to Finnegans, then go across the park and hit the ones next to the simpsons.....you have to kind of jump around.
With Express, save it til the lines get huge....the first couple of houses, dont use it. Once the lines get big, then whip it out.
Shows? Bill and ted a MUST. Freakshow will most likely be a MUST. Carnival of Carnage show...who knows, same with the Rocky Horror show. Dont know yet.
