Stay Play and Dine for 2015

For those saying POR wasn't included in the offer, it sure was! I had 3 preferred rooms already booked and had the stay/play/dine applied to my reservations! I oddly still have not received an email from chase yet about the discount though.

I haven't gotten my email from chase either! I'm glad I was able to take advantage of the offer, I would've been upset if I missed the opportunity!!

Inever got an email from Chase - ever on Dis offers. Thats why I come to this board so I knew to call today for my SPD discount!

Just booked Pop with DDP from 2/8 - 2/15. Two of use couples going, whose total bill each was $2,613.72. With S/P/D, bill was reduced to $2,274.70, a savings for each couple of $339.02! Time to lock up the plane tickets :thumbsup2

CM told me the calculation is based on where you stay, how long, what kind of dining plan, and how many weekday stays and weekend stays as the rates change.

did you have park hopper passes or any water passes?

what kind of dining is DDP?

my son is going 12/13-12/20. Says the offer is good for 12/14-12/20.

If he checks in on the 13th would the discount kick in on the 14th or would he have to book 1 day and act like they are checking out and check back in for the final 6 days so they can get the discount??

So lost it's not funny!

Bill

First day of discounts started Monday 10/06/14
Step 1 call Disney- Very nice man told me I did not have reservations. Which we do starting 01/05/15 at the POP.
Step 2 Call AAA- They call Disney for me and say sorry all sold out- ??? On the first day?
Step3 AAA agent calls Disney back and then calls me to say we can get a room only discount by going to a preferred room at the POP and take $70 off the price- So I say OK hey it is $70
Step 4 agent calls back and says we can add QSD for $25 p/p (2 adults) Ok why not I say (must be put on my Disney VISA)
Step 5 AAA agent calls back again and say OK a non –preferred room has magically opened and we can add the Quick Service Dining for $18 p/p per day.
Long story short the AAA agent had three different cast members give her three different quotes and we save some $$ in the long run.
We did not want o switch hotel levels as it is me and my 21 year old daughter. Just wanted a Disney room for this trip.

we have 7 day 6 night with park hopper

You will need two different reservation one for the 13th, then one for the 14th-29th. Then on the 14th he will need to check out then check back-in, but it is painless. When you make the reservation ask that they be linked with a note on both reservations, then mention it again when he checks in the first day that way he l may not need to change rooms. In fact in our case one time they had everything ready for us the second day so all we had to do was pick up the new key.

Thank you very much for the info. I have let him know and he is going to contact his TA Thursday.

How does that work with tickets? Will they have to buy a single day ticket, then a 6 day ticket?

Sorry for so many questions.

I think you could pick up the 7 day ticket a day early ?!?

I'm wondering with SPD if we get Deluxe dining if the discount means adults pay kids prices for deluxe or adults pay kids prices for regular plus cost to upgrade to deluxe?

Unfortunately it is not adults pay kids prices at all. It is a discounted package that includes discounts on some combination of your room and dining. The Adults pay Kids prices is just a way of figuring it that comes out kind of close to your actual cost.

However to answer your question, the SPD will include regular dining if you stay at a Moderate or above level resort. You will have to pay the full price difference to upgrade to deluxe dining.

Hopefully that helps, but I'm sure it's not the answer you're looking for. It would be AWESOME if it worked the way you suggested!

Tomorrow's Thursday!!!
Do you think they will release to the public tomorrow?

Will you call or go thru the website??

Fingers crossed!!:)

My travel agent is calling for me, I already have reservations, so just adjusting it and hopefully saving some $$. 5 people ( 3 kids but 2 being disney adults) 9 nights /9 day park hopper and dining plan. Staying at POR, fingers crossed.

I have a question. I have never booked a Stay Play and Dine Package before.
If we book from 3/1-3/7 with 3 or 4 day park tickets how many days of dining do we get? Is it based on the park ticket or the length of hotel stay? We are hoping to be there for the Braves Spring Training so we don't need but 3 or 4 park days.

We already have a room reserved (RO) at POR with no dining plan or tickets. Can I upgrade to the full SPD package with the current reservation. The reason I ask is because we have 2 standard rooms at POR and would like to keep them. From what I hear, only garden view is available at POR with SPD.

Sorry if this was already answered, and I am repeating what you've already been told. I had a standard RO reservation at POR, as well, and I had to change to Garden View to have any type of discount applied. I did the SPD package. HTH.

The number of nights at the hotel.

I am so mad. We are flying out of Chicago tomorrow to go to Florida for a wedding. Our Flight leaves at 6am. Not going to land until around 10:30 Florida time. I hope I don't miss out on this.
