We are planning on getting the 7 day tickets for our family of 5. We actually already have accommodations off site but are thinking about staying at 1 of the onsite hotel for 1 night to get the FOTL for 2 days.

We are going June 6-12. Should I wait to get the onsite room sometime during the week? Will that make a big difference in the crowds. I know the kids will want to go right away on Saturday or Sunday but will the crowds be crazy even with FOTL for those days?

Thanks,
jen

Nah...it's true the lines will be longer on the weekend but early June still isnt' too bad and with the unlimited Express access, you won't even care about the lines.

Thank you. Went ahead and got a room for Saturday night.

After not going to Universal in over 5 years, the kids are really excited :thumbsup2

I underestimated the benefit of FOTL until we stayed onsite Christmas. Even then our top waits were only when we were waiting for shows to start....our longest actual wait time for a ride was maybe 15min and that was on Dec 26 when crowds are at their highest.

Staying over the weekend makes a lot of sense since lines wont matter, and that leaves the slower weekdays at WDW (or Seaworld Or Busch Gardens et all)

I totally agree and would do the same myself.

Stay onsite for the weekend day and use the fotl.
