Stay on propery for one night

Just to add we stayed one night at Wilderness Lodge last year and checked in at 10am - were able to use the facilities - pool, gym etc and our room was ready early. No need to wait until 4pm, as there is a luggage room if you need it while you wait for your room and lockers in the gym to get changed etc :thumbsup2

I rented DVC points a few years ago for my DH's birthday and with the cost saving I could afford 2 nights at the Boardwalk.

It was really easy, the DVC owners can check availability at all the properties so you know what is available.

it's great staying on property - have fun!

Argh!!! OMG thank you guys! My Mac took a turn for the worst and I havent been able to get on here much and now im so annoyed that ive only just had the chance to see all of your wonderful replies!!

I ended up booking POFQ... and planning on doing MK EMH in the evening so a resort in the MK area would have been amazing!!

I don't think you will be disappointed. :) I am unbelievably excited about our stay at POFQ.

I am looking forward to it! Ive just been looking through a few photos and it really looks lovely!!

He has no idea and I cant wait to tell tell him!

I don't think you will be disappointed with POFQ it is small and really pretty, I used to love watching the horse & carriage going through the cobbled streets at night.

I would rent points from the rent/trade board, would be cheaper an you can get the owner to see what's available before you book!

Hmm and good luck finding and owner who can be bothered with only 1 nights worth of accommodation. I know I couldn't be bothered for such a small amount of points, would rather transfer the lot at a lower price per point or wait until someone wanted to rent a much larger number.
I would have thought for the sake of one night it would be far easier to book through Disney

Just because you couldn't be bothered doesn't mean everyone else who rents can't! I have rented out my points and rented someone elses for 1 night stays before, you just need to find a helpful owner!

I'm wanting to do this I think ... I've never stayed on property ... and next year we're there for my birthday - and I think a night in a disney hotel would be the perfect present to myself!! Seeing the DVC rates has made me think twice about booking direct ... I'd never thought I'd get a night in a deluxe at that price ... maybe I can persuade my friend to rent me some points if most owners won't want to get involved for one night stays
