Our 4 day is now going to Freeport. I don't want to be running around doing excursions every day, I had planned to have one day of fun on the ship, the spa, etc. Which day should we skip the excursion and stay on board?
One more question--the shops on board will be closed each day now while the ship is in port. What is the least crowded time to souvenir shop when they are open if there is no day at sea?

We stayed on board while in Freeport. It appeared most people did. The pools were very crowded. We went to the pools after lunch and had no problem finding deck chairs though. In Nassau we just walked around, went to the Pirate Museum and the Straw Market. To me, the shore excursions sounded better for Nassau. I guess it depends on what you want to do while in port.

Alot of people stayed on in Nassau and more people stayed on while in Freeport. Also when I was in line for Spa ressies a lot of people were picking the day at Freeport for their Spa treatment.
