Stay Off The Scale Challenge - Final Update (please post your weight loss)

GoofItUp - thanks for coming back by and letting us know how you are doing. I'm sorry that you didn't lose any weight but you are at goal right? That is something I am striving to reach. What a great job you have done to reach goal! Thanks for sticking with us as long as you could. Take care!

Sheree - what a trouper you have been! I'm hoping we all see nice losses tomorrow. The suspense is just killing me. I wonder would weighing at midnight be considered cheating. I'm just kidding. I won't weigh until tomorrow morning. If I have made it this far, I won't give in now. :smooth:

I've got just 2 days left on my class but I've stayed off the scale the whole time...this was a great time for me to do this kind of challenge. It took one big pressure off me and let me concentrate on other things.

The 2nd week, I was starting to get curious...clothes feeling looser. But I stayed away. Now I'm not if I want to get it out from under the trash can.

Exellent job, everyone!

You are more than a number - you are incredible!

-Laurie

Good day challengers!

It has been a pleasure to spend the past 30 days struggling through the ups and downs of this challenge with each of you. I've already read Florence and Sheree's success stories but hope you will both post here as well so your wonderful losses are recorded on our thread.

I have lost 5 pounds on our challenge and while I was hoping it would be a bit more, I'm satisfied with it. I have now lost 73 pounds and claimed my 70 pound clippie. I am 2 pounds from that beautiful 75 pound clippie and that same 2 pounds will get me to my next 10% weight loss goal. I'm just 10 pounds from onderland and that is the most exciting part of all for me.

Congratulations to everyone that made it the entire 30 days and thanks for joining us to those that had to leave our challenge along the way. WISHers are just great people!!!

I also appreciate Laurie's comments from last night - we are so much more than a number on a scale - this challenge has taught me that! Now let's here all those awesome results!!!! :sunny:

First
Thank you Lisa for keeping tract of things during this challenge:hug:

Also thanks to all my fellow challengers - A big WOOHOO to us all!!!:grouphug:

Okay I did not want to weigh myself this morning when I got home - first day of that time of month:( and I know the bloat fairy is here! But I did weigh myself and 6lbs lbs gone! I have a new "gold" clippie! and I also loss 6.5 inches on this challenge.

What a GREAT CHALLENGE! Thanks Again Lisa!

Sue:D

All right, I'm checking in. I'm so happy to report that after not weighing in for what seems longer than a month, I am 7 pounds lighter. Got my new clippies and I am 3 pounds away from that 50 pound clippie.

Lisa, congrats!!!!!! 70 pounds is quite the accomplishment. You have come such a long way. Keep up the good work

Cogratulations! I couldn't wait to read about all your losses.

Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I let my inner child (4 yr old with a love of goodies) out of the closet and she went wild. Bad inner child! ;) I am up one pound. Guess I just needed a break from my diet.

So I am having a stern talk with myself and put that wayward child back in the closet again, and get those trigger foods out of my house.

You all are so inspiring!!:thewave: :thewave:

Thanks Lisa, you did a wonderful job!

Sue - what a great job you have done! 6 pounds is a wondeful job!!!! You should be so proud of sticking this out!!! Woohoo for you!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Sheree - what a great job you have done!!!!! We all struggled with this challenge and you came through with flying colors. I can't tell you how many times I was tempted to get on that scale but thought of you all and stayed strong because I knew you all were struggling along with me. You will have that 50 pound clippie in no time!!!! And by the way, that 45 pound clippie ain't nothing to sneeze at either girlie! Congratulations!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hannosmom - thanks for celebrating with us!!! Even the challengers that had to drop out are an encouragement because you signed up and did your best. We appreciate it so much!!!! I'm sure you'll have a strong talk with your inner child and get back on the losing track. Hugs to you!!!!! :D

I am technically done with the challenge, but I am avoiding the scale r/t TOM. I'll let you know next week.
Beth

Congrats to all of you on your challenge success!! :)

Hi everone!

Well, I stayed off the scale for a month - the scale didn't move a bit! Oddly enough, I lost inches, so I'm not complaining.

ZerasPride, thank you SO much for initiating this challenge and keeping track of it. It made me realize that the scale is a tool, not something to obsess over. I can monitor my progress in a healthy way, thanks to you.

Best of luck to all the SOTSBIE folks, and let's try this again! Hollyann

Hi ya Buddies,

Its great to see the success!
Lisa congrats on the 5 lbs lost during the challenge. 73lbs total is a wonderful amount girl.
Sue congrats on the 6 lbs lost during the challenge.
Sheree congrats on the 7 lbs lost during the challenge.

I lost 12 lbs during the challenge. Combine with the 3 from the week before is a total of 15 lbs total for me.
Thank You so much Lisa for the challenge. It was a great jump start to my diet & healthy fitness change in my life.

Now to only weigh one time a week. Because I did purchase that scale. Oh and by the way DH has lost a total of 24 lbs in 5 weeks. Just is not fair how men just drop off the weight.

July:)

Hiya Wish buddies #

Reporting in for one last time on the challenge. I have really enjoyed the last few weeks and for all the new buddies that I have found here on Wish.

Congrats to everyone that has lost even an ounce during the challenge. We deserve to be proud of ourselves.

Pleased to report a weight loss of 22 pounds during the Stay Off The Scales Challenge.

Hannosmom, I was feeling bad about GAINING until I read your post. Now I know I can blame this on my inner child, who sounds an awful lot like yours!! :p

I honestly don't remember my starting weight but I know yesterday's was higher. I had started back at the health club on Sunday so I was already getting back on track and seeing that number on the scale (and having the support of some wonderful WISH journal buddies!) cemented my resolve.

I'm back in the game!

The scale challenge, however, was a learning experience for me, even if I didn't lose any weight, and for that I am grateful. Thanks, Lisa, for all you did to start and keep this challenge going!

I appreciate so much everyone reporting in one last time. You each have inspired to keep going and have made this challenge fun!

Beth - please do let us know what you lost during the challenge. We want to celebrate with you!

Cookie - thanks for celebrating along with us!!!!! I love that "paper" congratulations graphics!

Hollyann - inches lost are a wonderful accomplishment! What a great job you did in staying off the scale! You deserve to celebrate your accomplishment because it sure did take a lot of willpower.

July - 12 pounds lost?! That is wonderful!!!! You should be so proud of yourself because we are all so proud of you!!!!!

Minniespal - 22 pounds lost in a month? That is just incredible. May I ask where is your WISH clippie? You should be shouting that type of loss from the rooftops!!!!

Doe - I'm glad to hear you are back in the game. I think this was a learning experience for all of us. The scale is just one of several indicators of how healthy we are. I personally am liking seeing how small a size clothing I can get into instead of just what a number on the scale says. Even if you didn't lose anything during our challenge, you are such a big winner in sticking it out and demonstrating tremendous will power in staying off the scale.

Hi, I just want to send a great big CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who managed to make it to the end of this challenge without weighing yourselves. Way to go!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
