Stay Away From VWL!!!!!

Tee hee - we promise to stay away until June - just got back from a stay at SSR and made the mistake of visiting this nasty place one day and well . . . let's just say that it was so horrible, we booked a week as soon as we got back to our room!

We've stayed at WL before and FELL IN LOVE with it. The villas are great...especially when you have kids. VWL is our next trip!!!

I think you should be demanding a refund in full!!! No one, I mean no one should ever have to endure what you did! Bless your heart. I hope there is recovery in your future... There is hope out there. Next time you might want to consider the Knight's Inn Maingate.

Do NOT go there. Avoid it like the plague.

Just got back. Unbelievable resort. Idyllic. Spotless. Beautifully decorated. All CM's were incredibly knowledgeable and amazingly enthusiastic about the resort. Surprisingly closer to the main lodge than I expected. Had a good time hanging upside down at the Territory Lounge after a few margaritas to find the hidden Mickey in the map on the ceiling. Both the WL and VWL were completely full and you would NEVER know it. CM Skip is great. Villa very spacious and well-stocked. Let me stress spacious.

After a 1st night at Pop and last two nights at the Swan, I will NEVER, EVER, EVER stay ANYWHERE but a villa again. That goes for outside WDW as well. It was so nice having a living room to relax in once the kids were in bed. And the walk-in closet is a great place to put the pack n play. DS loves dark rooms for sleeping, so he was happy as a clam in there with the door cracked open a foot.

It was a perfect place for a family and just so beautiful with the Christmas decorations.

Oh and uh, don't take the bus to MK. WAY too crowded. Trust me. Stick to the boat. Much faster than the bus anyway.

Someone will slap me about the face and head if I'm wrong, but I'm confident that you can do both, as long as you're not a DVC member (though the hot rumor is that will change come January). The first time we stayed there, we almost went with the old Silver Dining Plan. . .almost. aw:

You guys are getting me so excited! I have my first stay booked at WL but it is not until next October! I can't wait that long!

(Of course, that won't tell me much b/c I've never stayed there, either.) I know they are probably "terrible" also, but if someone can tell me just how horrible a studio is, I promise only to go there the one time."

Yep, the studios too are horrible. Way worse than a regular hotel room. We make no use of the coffe maker/fridge/toaster and other stuff in the studio. Terrible room, just awful.

Somehow we'll get through our stay in a VWL Studio. Sigh, someone has to do it. We'll do our duty.

We check in to the dump tomorrow, after a very, very long wait.

We are staying in a studio - I hope they are not worse than that at BWV or BCV. Those dumps were really bad, too. Stay away from all the villas, if you have not had the opportunity!!!!

BTW, we have stayed at the concirege at this hotel and we loved it. Can't wait for a long weekend at WL.
