I, sorry if this was mentioned before, but I'm on the DIS app on my phone and still learning to navigate.
So we're going to do IOA in the morning/afternoon.
What time do we get to enter HHN with the Stay and Scream pass? I know there's a holding area. Any tips?
Thanks!

You need to have a park ticket to stay in the park before closes at 5:00
Go to the S and S holding area by 5:00

How does the holding area work? I had thought I would take my teens to dinner at City Walk and go back for HHN, but is it better to stay in the park?

I haven't been in a few years but you should stay in the park to get the full advantage of your tickets.

With the crowds for hhn now, it is the best way to do.
Get a head start on 2 of the houses before park opening

Which SnS area would you recommend to be in to see all the houses the easiest? Also, would like to see the shows. Say- going next week on Wednesday when HHN closes at MN. Halloween and TWD top priorities.

TIA!

We were there last weekend in sept. We stayed in the park and went to holding area. First night we stayed in the holding area over by twister ride and the house opened early was aliens. Second night we stayed in holding area by diagon alley (was told this was a trial thing yo leave diagon open until 8). They then filtered us out by where jaws used to be. They told us that Halloween house area would not open until later so we went back towards twister. I forget what house opened early. Third night we were put in holding area by Betty book store and first house was I believe dusk until dawn or Dracula. Definitely see the bill and Ted show. It was hilarious. It was nice yo go to this event even though I didn't get scared like everyone claims.
