Stay 4 get 3 free!

hmphh. seriously? I waited a week to see if Universal announced anything, then dumped the Universal part of our trip for an all Disney. We'll still hopefully be doing Universal next year, but I'm still bummed about missing it this trip.

Universal is now offering kids eat free (lunch and dinner) at the resorts during the extra value weeks / stay 4 get 3 free weeks. The reservation center siiad it won't show up on your confirmation, but it's part of the special they are running.:thumbsup2

How do I find out what dates this special offer is for and is there an age limited for the children to eat free, do you know? We are heading over 20th May - 2nd June, and my daughter will be 8. I have looked at the website and can't see any details.

Many thanks,

Thank you for your recent e-mail inquiry. Unfortunately, while the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Studios is a Loews property, it is not eligible for YouFirst benefits or credit for stays. All other Loews properties are eligible for benefits and credits. The Hard Rock Hotel has its own loyalty program.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and look forward to seeing you later this month.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at Loews Hotels

Just confirms what you on here had already told me :thumbsup2

daywalker, it's good that they were speedy in their response to you.

still, you got a good deal on the room.
if the loews program is not important to you, then go for the hotel you booked.

Yes, I was impressed with them (always have been!) they replied a day earlier than I posted their response too.

As you say, I appear to have gotten away with the free upgrade anyway so :) .

We have our trip over New Year coming first anyway (27 Dec - 1 Jan), I sacrificed a king suite upgrade at RPR for a basic room at HRH for this trip too so it had better be a good trip :thumbsup2 . I can't believe it's been 18 months since our last visit but still, we've made it to Orlando at least once a year every year since 1999 (just!).

As for NYE itself we still haven't decided what to do but we'll work that out once we get there, the citywalk party doesn't appeal too much, especially at the price they're charging but I'm going OT so I'll shut up :santa:

This sounds like a great deal! Thanks for posting. I am going to talk with my husband in the morning (he is fast asleep right now) & see about booking something since we are wanting to go back anyway.
