Nope, it's the Loews platinum upgrade.
I didn't even ask for it, they just applied the upgrade when I booked after I gave them my Loews number.
I made the booking originally back in September so I don't know if what you say about HRH not participating is a new thing and they are obviously honouring my existing reservation? All I know is I have a confirmation showing a king suite for 7 nights @ $166.67 per night

(Actually I just double checked, it's actually $166.99).

july 15, 2008 was the date HRH pulled out of the loews you first program.
there were to implement their own loyalty program.
all 3 hotels have some of the same perks.
the loews loyalty program in the other 2 hotels had the upgrades and a few other perks.

on how the wording is based, it looks like your upgrade is valid.
the one issue you would have is your stay will not count as a qualifying stay for the loews you first program.
if that is not an issue for you, then you have no worries.
If this has changed, the website does not reflect it.
i use the websites to check and see if there are any changes.
if what is posted on HRH section is out dated, then you should check with loews directly.
