Status with Muppets?

NBC showed the first made for TV Muppet movie Friday night. Friday morning, there was a "interview" on the Today show with Kermit. The gist of the interview was that the Muppets would be doing more made for TV movies for NBC and are exploring other projects with NBC.

I assume that Disney/ABS's relationship with the Henson organization is not that great. Any rumors or thoughts?

The German group still owns the muppets but is as always trying to sell them. THere is a rumor among us muppet nuts that SABAN ENT. is actively seeking to buy the muppets. But again just a rumor. Check out Toughpigs.com for the article.
