Was wondering if anyone knows if either of these 2 nights will fill up fast . I don't have my tickets yet but will get them right away if I need to. The 9th is a Tuesday and I was thinking this would be the best of the two to go. The last time we went it was a Friday and I know it's better to go during the week if you can so if anyone has an opinion on the two and hopefully they are'nt close to sellling out I would love to know!! Thanks!!

At the risk of sounding dumb, but for us newbies, what is Mvmcp? Thanks!

Hi its Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party I have my ticket
for Dec 9 yes the tickets do sale fast. So I would get your
tickets now.

:D :D :D

Thanks conntom!

I guess since we won't be there until the 27th we won't be worrying about purchasing tickets but I do appreciate knowing what everyone is talking about!

Vicky:)

I have never bought my tickets until at least October and never been blocked out in early December.

Thanks everyone!

Do you think it's OK for me to wait until after summer for a Tuesday party?? I know from past experience that the weekend partys get filled quickly because of locals going.

Is there any way to find out how full a particular date is???

We already have our tickets for 12/9. As others have mentioned, MVMCP on Friday nights usually sell out.

Princess Crazy: You can now purchase the MVMCP tickets on the WDW web site. I guess you could keep checking this site. I would guess that if tickets for a certain day sell out, the date would no longer be listed on their web site.

Last year I bought tickets for Tuesday Dec 10 the same day. I believe only Fridays sold out last year. I think the Fridays did not sellout until November, so you are safe waiting until the fall. The last 2 years I got tickets for Sunday or Tuesday when we got there, neither sold out. You get the advance price as long as it's not the day of the party. I ended up buying ours last year on the same day because the weather forecast was bad. I checked with the front desk and both Tuesday & Thursday were still available. When the weather cleared up on Tuesday afternoon, I bought the tickets. It turned out to be a beautiful warm night. Worth the extra money because Thursday night it was raining buckets.

Re MVMCP: I know it's been discussed before, but I was one of those who bought a ticket (3, actually) WAY in advance of this event last year, only to have it STORM on the day of the party and all that night. I strongly advise against buying these tickets early. I would have much rather watched the weather and bought a ticket last minute, or even missed out because it was sold out, rather than spend over a hundred dollars for a night of pure misery. I had no idea when I bought MVMCP tickets in October that the coming December would be the coldest and wettest Orlando had seen in a long time. However, if I had waited till the last minute, the weather would have been obvious, and there's no way I would have wasted my money. I don't believe these things really "sell out," and believe me, you would rather miss out than be stuck. We are coming this June and then again in October, and I can assure you I will WAIT and buy tickets for the MNSSHP once I get down there and check out the weather. And yes, I know NOW that they were offering returns on money. I found this out here on the boards after I got back and threw away the tickets. (Oh, for a laptop!) And, to tell you the truth, as much as I hated wasting the money, I don't really think Disney should have to repay-the weather is not their fault!Anyway, just my two cents worth-from someone who didn't think it would happen to me!!

Thanks everyone!

We're shooting for Tues the 9th but I thought I read somewhere here that if it were to get rained out that you could switch your ticket to another night. Can anyone confirm that?? If that were to happen then we would change to Thurs the 11th.

I guess I'll wait awhile to purchase tickets. When we went 2 years ago we could have purchased our tickets there too but I'm just too nervous of a person to take a chance and I know how fun this night is so I would'nt want chance it-- I'll probably get them though.

Would appreciate though if anyone hears any different as far as this year with ticket sales.

;)

Don't wait if you wait the price for sameday is $44.68 for
adult and 34.03 for children if you buy your tickets now
it's 38.29+tax and for children it's 27.64 if available?

:D

I think the refunds or exchanges were an "unofficial policy". The tickets say non-refundable. They could stick to it if they wanted but Disney more than any other company will bend their own rules in the name of customer satisfaction. They will do it if asked but they will not advertise it. There were also people on these boards who bought tickets when they first came out and then had to cancel their trips for one reason or another. They wrote to Disney, returned the tickets and were given refunds.

If you are 100% sure you are going, I would buy the tickets before you go. One of the reasons I didn't was because there was a chance the trip could be cancelled due to my mom's health problems, it was just easier to buy them when we got there, knowing Sun-Tues never sellout. Buying them the same day last year was a penalty I took because of the crummy weather forecast. If good weather was predicted the whole week, I would have bought them at checkin and got the discount.
