Status of Dolphin renovations?

Just curious if anyone has recently been and observed the work going on. Are they working one floor at a time or one wing at a time?

A while back another poster stated that there were men carrying stuff back and forth by the pool and I wondered if this is still going on?

I am just a little paranoid as a while back we stayed at the Beach Club, which I was raving about to my DH and as we walked the very looooong walk to our room, there was plastic sheeting and guys on ladders hammering right outside our door up and down the hallway (we were moved very quickly!) Needless to say I am very cautious about staying where there is any construction/renovation going on. But I would love to stay in a renovated room as long as the construction is not going on all around us!

I know I can call and ask the hotel directly, but I was hoping for some more candid responses from recent visitors.

I just returned on July 3rd. I was on the 5th floor East, and they were doing construction around us. Staff was very understanding about our concerns regarding the noise during children's naps. We were offered upgrades, vouchers, or $50 room credit. The workers on our floor just had a cart, like a housekeeping cart, with their materials on it, so it wasn't obtrusive at all. The noise was though, but only in the afternoon.

It did not appear that construction was going on everywhere. I only noticed a little bit of material outside the door to the pool, but I didn't find it bothersome. I wished we had stayed on the West Wing anyway to be closer to the pool. Also the new rooms look great. I would recommend requesting one.

I hope it's all done by next June but if not, it doesn't sound like it's too big of a deal......thanks Sherri for your answer.
