Staterooms with Covered Verandahs on the Wonder

What do you mean by "covered"? Most verandahs have another verandah directly above them. As in, they aren't open to the sky above.

There are a few extra large verandahs with the area immediately outside the door covered from the verandah above, but the rest open.

There are fully enclosed verandahs (except for a large open porthole) called Navigator's Verandahs.

I think some of them are "covered" with a white wall (on the bottom and on the top) giving you access to the outside like a window... but without glass.

Well, people could probably see you. The verandah dividers are easy to look around. And people on other ships can see you on your verandah while in port.

As to how protected, somewhat. If the sun is low enough in the sky, it will shine on your verandah. And wind-driven rain will get you wet. The front of the average verandah is open.

Thanks. I just meant from above. I was in a balcony once that was completely on view to the decks above due to the fact "stepped" design of the aft decks.
