Stateroom water?

We're going on our first cruise in August. DH heard that the stateroom water is not for drinking...so I thought I would check here, with all you seasoned cruisers!

Can you drink the water from the stateroom--bathroom sink? Just brush your teeth with it? Or not at all?

Drink and brush away! It's RO water all over the ship. Enjoy your first cruise.

Of course the water in the bathroom sink is potable. We use it all the time for filling our personal water bottles.

All the water that comes out of all the faucets that guests have access to is pure, reverse osmosis water, carried through pipes that meet the requirements for drinking out of.
