I read that you can see the nightly shows on your stateroom tv. Is that true? If so is it just the shows that are in the theatre, or are the other parties (deck/atrium/etc) available also? Are both early and late shows available to watch live or is it prerecorded? What else is available to watch on your stateroom tv?

I can only answer part of that question-theater show only. I've "watched" (read fallen asleep while it's on) many that way.

They are pre-recorded, so it is not necessarily the same cast that is performing that night. They run at various times during the day, not just at show time. There are not any simulcasts of the other events (deck parties, lobby/atrium shows).

Yes, pre-recorded, not live from the theatre. It would be nice if they would live stream some of the events e.g. the sailing away party, pirate night show and fireworks. Sometimes, it is too crowded on deck, or later at night, younger kids might not want to go out. Was really cool the night of our repositioning from San Diego to Vancouver last year, so didn't go on deck but would have been nice to see the fireworks (couldn't go out on our veranda).

You have gotten answers about the shows. What else you can watch - a variety of ship's channels, including on that shows map and location and one that has various crew members describing their departments. The obligatory DVC channel. There will also be a variety of channels showing movies and Disney programs and some TV stations (although this depends on a variety of factors). In addition, on the Dream and Fantasy there on on-demand movies.

Depending on which ship you're on, you could have movies on demand. We were on the Fantasy and had some pretty good recent release movies (back in Oct. '16) we got to see the most recent Star Trek before it was released to cable/DVD and a few others. They generally have a lot of classic Disney/Pixar flicks. My kids love the Mickey short cartoons they show on Disney Channel and would watch those at bedtime. I loved being able to put a movie on at bedtime and set the sleep timer and not worry about having to get up and shut it off if I fell asleep. :-)

They were also recording and televising the history talks given on our Baltic cruise about the various ports. I think they were also doing that on one of our Med cruises too.

Also just as a note, the shows are not "on demand" they are only at certain times. I was sad about that - I could have watched Believe over and over.
