Stateroom Televisions

This might seem like a dumb question, but...

Does anyone have any pictures of the television in the staterooms? Or know if the TVs had input jacks?

The wife and I are booked on the West bound Panama cruise and I was wondering if I would be able to hook my MP3 player up to the TV. The only reason would be to have music to play and not have to bring travel speakers.

One less thing to pack is always a good thing.

I don't have any pictures but I'm pretty sure the tv's done have input jacks on them. My DH had looked once to view pictures from the camera on the tv and we couldn't do it.

Someone recently reported that the TVs do not have the jacks.

I don't believe they do... We usually tuned to the Messages From the Bridge channel which had Disney music playing. I also brought small travel speakers for my iPod, which we used as well. Not the greatest sound, but they were very tiny.

Unfortunately, what everyone is describing is what I remember from our last cruise too. I was hoping I just did not actually check, but I guess I did.

My MP3 player comes with a video and audio out and it has been really nice to have on other trips. Being able to plug in and listen to music or watch a movie on a lazy day.

I know, there's plenty of things to do and not much time to sit around staring at the tube. But sometimes it's nice to have that as a sleep aid.

Just came off the 11/3 to 11/11 cruise. Sorry to say I spent quite some time in the stateroom. 8598 was the number, it was a 13 in screen with RCA style jacks right on the front. Shouldn't be a problem.
