Stateroom Question....

Hi All.....
Just got out stateroom assignments from DU. We have 7630 & 7632 on the October 17th Wonder. They are way in the back. Any comments on how that area is? We are using our $99 certs from our Jan. Magic cruise. We had joining room on that one and I had requested the same but just got ones next to each other. I would really like the joining ones again!! Should I persue it with DCL or do I not have a chance on a change?

You can always ask for connected rooms. It won't hurt to ask and they might accommodate. I can't speak for the specific rooms but we stayed in the back of the ship on deck 8 and loved the location. And, you're close to the "secret" deck 7 Aft location! We're doing our $99 cruise in October also (10/10)...added a 4 day in front of it. A great price for a full week!

We are booked on the May 19th Wonder cruise of this year and we were given staterooms 7632 & 7634. I will let you know how I like the room and even take some pics if you would like. This will be our third cruise with Disney and I have never stayed at the Aft end of the ship. I've read a lot about it here on the discussion boards and I'm actually thinking I'm going to love it in the back. I'm used to the other type of Verandah where you can see through it... but I'm ok with change so I'm looking forward to seeing what the difference is. I did try to get connecting rooms but there were none available when we booked.

Thanks for the input everyone...I e-mailed my DU TA and she called Disney...they moved us to 7040 & 7042 joining rooms and towards the front...we are very happy with the change...anyone know if the verandah rail is clear or not in these rooms?

The verandah rails are clear plexiglass in these rooms. Actually any rooms forward of the cat. 7 rooms have the see-through railing.

They moved you to a great location, just forward of the midship elevators. It will be very convenient to move about the ship from there.
